Demonstrated success leading daily programming operations, optimizing music and imaging scheduling, and elevating station brand identity across radio, and digital platforms.

About Me
I am a graduate of Ohio University, with a focus on broadcast media. While in college, I worked for WSAZ-TV, a local station in Huntington, WV. From there I transitioned into radio and was an on-air talent across several stations and markets:
Huntington, WV
-
103.3 WTCR-FM (Country)
-
106.3 WAMX-FM (Classic Rock)
Parkersburg, WV
-
107.1 WNUS-FM (Country)
Wheeling, WV
-
97.3 WKWK-FM (Classic Hits)
In October of 2020, I became the Midday Personality on Classic Hits 100.9 Charleston & 102.3 Huntington The Mix (WMXE-FM & WWQB-FM).
As needs changed, I moved to PM Drive, and was promoted to Assistant Program Director and ultimately Program Director, with responsibility for programming strategy, talent management, and station operations.
Programming Philosophy
My programming philosophy is built on three pillars: clarity, consistency, and connection.

First, I focus on clarity—every element on the station should have a purpose. Imaging, sweepers, promos, transitions, benchmarks, and even song choice all serve specific roles in guiding the listener experience. I prefer clean, tight elements with forward momentum. Montages or sweepers should enhance the brand, not interrupt it, and imaging should be written with the station’s true audience in mind.
Second, I believe in consistency of brand and message. What we promise listeners—whether it’s a morning show, a music position, or a station identity—should be delivered honestly. Branding should accurately reflect the actual sound and structure of the product. That kind of alignment creates trust and long-term loyalty.
Third, I focus on connection. Great radio is built on habit and relationship. That means using purposeful benchmarks, meaningful community presence, and on-air personalities who sound like real people, not announcers. I like on air personalities that feel structured but natural, with predictable anchor points that create appointment listening and can be monetized effectively, while still being genuine and relatable to the everyday listener.
Overall, my goal as a programmer is to create a station that feels polished, current, and true to its audience. I want the sound to be tight, the imaging to be adult and relatable, the music to reflect the brand promise, and the personalities to feel accessible and human. When those pieces work together, you build a product that not only gets listened to, but gets remembered.
